The Bourbonnais Regiment was present at the British Surrender at Yorktown in 1781. It was a member of Rochambeau's force. The colonel was the Comte de Saint Maisme and the lieutenant-colonel was the Vicomte de Noailles, brother-in-law of Lafayette. |
