Coat of Arms

The coat of arms of Noria de Ángeles was adopted in 1989, during the term of Municipal President Zúñiga Guerrero. Although its designer is unknown, it is known that it was a proposal and presented in several council sessions. The border of the coat of arms reads "MUNICIPIO NORIA DE ANGELES". The inner section depicts two angels holding a crown over a well, hence the municipal name. Behind is a hill reminding of the scenery. At the bottom, a cob of corn in its husk for agriculture, a mining cart filled with ore for mining, and a head of cattle for the cattle-raising industry.
