Presentation of Skrad

Skrad is a municipality located about half way between Delnice and Vrbovsko, 5 km of Ravna Gora, on the railway line Rijeka-Zagreb. It has about 2,200 inhabitants.

Flag of Skrad

The symbols of Skrad are prescribed by Decision Odluka o grbu i zastavi Općine Skrad, adopted on 29 June 1998 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 21 August 1998 in the County official gazette Službene novine Primorsko-goranske županije, No. 17.

The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka, and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administration before 2006.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, dark green with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.

The table flag in use has yellow branches added below the shield and the name of the municipality above. The branches are the same as on the ceremonial flag of Fužine. Whether this is also used as a ceremonial flag is unclear, since the Decision does not mention a ceremonial flag at all.
