Burgrieden Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Gules a castle Argent, with port and windows Sable and a stepped gable between two embattled towers, beneath Vert a fess wavy Argent.
Meaning:
The castle (German: Burg) is alluding to the first part of the village name. It is also reminding on the castles of Bühl and Rot, two villages incorporated into Burgrieden in 1972/73. The fess wavy on a green background is symbolising a swamp (German: Ried). The arms are thus canting.
