Blazon of coat of arms:
Azure, a mount or: a spruce tree vert accompanied by six rising
heads of corn on a rocky terrace vert.
Exterior ornaments: The shield is supported by eight natural maple leaves.
For the motto: A strip of parchment in green bearing the motto.
The mountain on an azure background designates Mount Carmel: the mountain represents the mountain while the blue, Marian color, symbolizes the Holy Virgin, hence Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
The spruce and ears of corn on a gold background represent hope and wealth, the forest and cultivation of the soil, the two axes of the Mont-Carmel economy. The stones strewn on the ground recall the difficulties of agriculture.
The coat of arms is the work of Mr. Jacques Buissière based on a sketch by Mr. Roland Boulanger, priest, who was also responsible for checking the heraldic value of this coat of arms.
