Kınalıada Water Sports Club

KSSK (website) was established in 1968 in Kınalıada, one of the Prince Islands (district of Adalar) by Başar Acarlı, Şükrü Deniz and Manuel Tagaryan. The first swimming and water polo competitions were organized in 1968, the year the club's facilities were completely destroyed by a storm. Inaugurated in 1972, the club's swimming pool was the first Olympic swimming pool in İstanbul.
The objectives of KSSK are "to train athletes at the level of Turkish
National Team in swimming and water polo sports, to provide our members
with comfortable, clean and highest standards of facilities, to prepare
and present summer season activities for children and young people, and
to contribute to the promotion of our country and Prince Islands in
sportive areas."
The club counts now more than 2,500 members.
The flag of KSSK (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo) is white with two horizontal orange-blue and blue-orange stripes near the top and bottom, respectively, and the club's emblem in the center.

Heybeliada Water Sports Club

HSSK, established in 1984, is active in sailing, swimming and water polo. Heybeliada is one of the Princes' Islands, the second largest by its area.
