Eurasia University (website) was established in Trabzon in 2010. The university is managed by the Maçka Reconstruction, Education, Culture and Social Service Foundation (Maçka İmar, Eğitim, Kültür ve Sosyal Hizmet Vakfı), established in 1996 by the industrialist Ömer Yıldız (b. 1951), Mayor of Maçka (1998-2004).
The university is composed of 4 Faculties, 4 Vocational Schools and 3 Institutes.
