Shield quartered; 1st quarter Or a stylised crozier with base lozengy Azure in pale, flanked at dexter by three balls Azure in triangle and at sinister by a book Azure; 2nd quarter Sable a lion rampant Or, armed and tongued Gules, holding by his forepaws an inescutcheon parted per bend, above left lozengy of Argent and Azure, beneath right Gules an anchor reversed Or in bend; 3rd quarter Vert two scarifiers Argent hafted Or in saltire, on central chief point a Greek cross Argent; 4th quarter an annulet Azure annexed by three chevronels of the same pointing to annulet in equal distance; thin orle Argent.
Meaning:
The 1st quarter is a differentiation of the municipal arms of Neuhofen, the 2nd quarter displays the municipal arms of Altrip without green base, the 3rd quarter displays the municipal arms ofWaldsee, the 4th quarter those of Otterstadt. The orle is symbolising the status of an associated municipality.

Meaning:
The line of partition is a representation of the Rhine. Above right are the arms of Waldsee, beneath left those of Otterstadt. The orle is symbolising the status of an associated municipality.

Shield Sable, on base Vert a lion rampant Or, armed and tongued Gules, holding by his forepaws an inescutcheon parted per bend, above left lozengy of Argent and Azure, beneath right Gules an anchor reversed Or in bend.
Meaning:
The name is derived from a Roman castle, which existed since 269. The current pattern already appeared on local court seals from the 17th century. Its prints existed since the 18th century. Lion and lozenges are symbolising that the village belonged to the Palatine Electorate since 1524. The anchor is symbolising shipping on the Rhine and the existence of a local ferry.

Meaning:
Neuhofen was founded by monks of the Cistercian Himmerod Monastery as a replacement of the devastated village of Medenheim. The old arms displayed on a golden shield St. Nicolas, nimbed Argent, dressed Azure, holding a crozier Argent in pale by his right hand and a book Gules topped by three balls Or by his left hand. He had been the patron saint of the church of the devastated village. These arms were based on a local court seal from 1721. In the new arms the saint was replaced by his attributes crozier, book and golden balls.

Meaning:
The charge is a local symbol, used on local bordr stones. The former arms were based on a court seal from the 15th century and displayed on a blue shield St. Remigius with his attributes under a golden arch.

Shield Vert two scarifiers Argent hafted Or in saltire, on central chief point a Greek cross Argent.
Meaning:
The village was fortified until 1349. The cross is alluding to the Bishopric of Speyer, to which Waldsee belonged afterwards. The original local symbol had been and annulet with additional bar. The curren pattern already appeared on local court seals since 1521. The tools originally were denoted as boat hooks alluding to shipping on the Rhine. In order to stress thr rural character they were interpreted as scarifiers, i.e a cheap replacement of a plough, since 1927.
