Blazon: I gull en opprett svart kreps. In English: Or a crayfish sable.
Approved by the royal resolution of 4 February 1983 after a drawing by Truls Nygaard. [c2j87]
The design is based on a previous emblem used by the municipality in an oval seal depicting some hills with four fir trees in the upper part and water (lake) in the lower with a crayfish - freshwater lobster.
