Description of the flag

The "خبرگزاری دانشجویان ایران (ایسنا)" (Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA)) is the only news agency with a student identity and the first non-governmental news agency in Iran after the Islamic Revolution, whose privilege was granted to Jihad University by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on April 21, 1999 (Persian calendar 1/2/1378) although other sources mention November 4, 1999 and started operations on December 16 to coincide with Student Day.
