Shield Azure, in base a ball Or, in chief a radiant trinity eye Or.
Meaning:
The oldest local seal with prints from 1686 displayed an arrow and the bowstring of a crossbow. The current pattern is based on a seal of the local reeve around 1800, displaying only a ball. Since 1816 the seals displayed an additional triangle beneath and a bar. The bar was alluding to the arms of Austria, to which the city historically belonged, the triangle to the Holy Trinity. The ball was considered to be a globe since around 1900. In 1921 eye and rays were added to the triangle.
