Meaning:
The upper part is a differentiation of the arms of the Palatine Electorate, to which belonged 17 of the current municipality before the French Revolution. The lower part is symbolising viticulture. each of the 24 grapes is representing a municipality.

Meaning:
The 1st quarter displays the one-headed imperial eagle reminding on the existence of an imperial estate since 885. The 2nd quarter displays the arms of the Palatine Electorate. The 3rd quarter dispalys the arns of the Hither County of Sponheim. The 4th quarter displays a canting beaker (German: Becher).

Shield Argent a plough Gules, in base a rose twig Vert with rose Gules seeded Or barbed Vert.
Meaning:
The pattern is konwn from the oldest court seals with prints from 1612 and 1707. The seal from 1784 displays the plough, basically just a red saltire with one additional thorn, without rose. The rose is probabyl symbolising a local court, as it is not depicted on seals only used for letters. The plough is stressing the rural character.
