Société des Régates d'Agde et du Cap(SORAC) is based in Agde, a town located between Sète and Béziers (coastal Languedoc). Cap d'Agde, located a few kilometers south of the town proper, is a main center of summer vacation.
The burgee of the SORAC (photo) is blue with the white letters "S.O.R.A.C.".

The Société Nautique de Sète (SNS), founded in 1863 as Régates Cettoises, is France's 7th oldest yacht clubs and the second established on the Mediterranean Sea.
The flag of the SNS (photo) is quartered per saltire blue-white-red-White. The blue and red quarters are charged with the white letters "R" and "S", respectively, recalling the first name of the club. Two white stars are placed vertically along the hoist.
The burgee of the SNS (photo) is the triangular version of the club's flag.

The club's original burgee and flag were similar but with a "C" instead of a "S", referring to the club's original name, Régates Cettoises.

The name of the town was changed from Cette to Sète by a Decree issued on 20 January 1928, which validated the Decision issued on 27 August 1927 by the Municipal Council.
