Shield Or, an olive tree eradicated Vert fruited Sable, between a bunch of rice ears Vert tied Gules at dexter and a cogwheel Gules at sinister, base wavy of Azure and Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black capitals: "LONGOMEL".

Longomel Commune is one of the five communes of Ponte de Sor Municipality (q.v.); it had 1229 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 46.88 km².
