Coat-of-arms adopted 1949
Juist is an island, which is symbolised by the dunes and the waves of
the North Sea. The spurs are taken from the arms of Norden
to symbolise the ties to this city. The arms were granted in 1949 and were
based on older, unofficial arms, which just showed the dunes.

Description of flag: It is a white over celestial blue over yellow
horizontal tricolour with the coat of arms in the centre.
The coat of arms is the same as descripted earlier, but the blue shade
is also celestial at the base of the shield is a real sharp point.
Source: I spotted this flag a few times at Norddeich ferry terminal
and on the ferries to Juist on 14 September 2009.
