Dingelstädt Coat of Arms

The shield is silver, dispolaying a green, eradicated oak tree with its trunk surrounded by a golden annulet.
Meaning:
Dingelstädt was first mentioned in 900. It had already a coat of arms since the middle ages, displaying an axe as a symbol of the local courtyard. The current arms were granted in 1859 and had been slightly modified since then. The annulet is the new symbol of the courtyard and a former Thing. The oak tree is representing the Eichsfeld region.
