Under the terms of the Agreement between Canada, British Columbia and Sliammon Nation, on 05.04.2016 this tribe became the self-governing Tla'amin Nation, and on that date a new flag was hoisted for the first time. The Tla'amin Nation has about 1160 enrolled members, of which 615 live on reserve land.
