The Rhode Island Yacht Club has so neatly laid out their entire set of officers' flags, that even though quite a few are known to us, I can't help but report them:

- Commodore: common pattern
- Vice-Commodore: common pattern
- Rear-Commodore: common pattern
- Secretary: crossed quills pattern
- Treasurer: common pattern
- Past Commodores': common pattern
- Fleet Captain: common pattern
- Membership: commonly known for Judge Advocate: - white crossed quills on a red field (see below)
- Fleet Surgeon - red on white
- House Chair - white crossed keys on a red field - red version of purser/quartermaster
- Race Chair - an upright red fouled anchor with the letter R near the hoise, and the letter C on the opposite side of the anchor from the letter R. The letters are white on a blue field. common Race Committee pattern
- All other members of the board of directors are identified by their flag, a white, downward pointed chevron on a blue field.
