Description of the flag

The Bayfield Yacht Club was created in 1988. It's situated in Bayfield, on the south shore of Lake Superior. Though their website speaks of "Apostle Islands", Bayfield is really on solid ground. They are more part of the gateway to the islands.

The burgee is a somewhat purplish field, holding five green islands, with near the hoist a white sans letter "B". The field I assume depicts Lake Superior. The islands, I assume, portray the Apostle Islands. The letter is the start of the names of the location and the yacht club.

I've blown up the image on their website, but I'm not sure of the results. I've gotten a lot of tween-colour out of it, as if the
flag-maker doesn't know where the islands end.
