USUHS is an accredited medical school operated by the DOD in Bethesda, MD. It educates medical personnel for the Army Medical Department, Naval Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, the Air Force Medical Service, and the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

Although it is difficult to tell from the below photo, the USUHS president may have his own flag, that appears to have the central device of the USUHS seal only without the ring, on a gold background:,_James_USUHS_President.jpg

Finally, the University Brigade (the student cadre) has its own flag, a US Army-style flag here: (no longer available. The flag is maroon with a white fringe (the colors of the Army Medical Department), a modified USUHS seal (with gold interior) with a gold scroll, inscribed "University Brigade" in maroon, below. It is possible that this is the flag behind the president in the above photo.
