The Kansas City Chiefs compete in the American Football Conference (AFC) West division of the National Football League (NFL). They are a professional American football franchise playing in Kansas City, Missouri. The team was francised in 1960 as part of the American Football League (AFL) in the Dallas, Texas. First named the Dallas Texans, they moved to Kansas City three years later in 1963 renaming themselves the Kansas City Chiefs.
The francise won three AFL championships. In 1962 as the Texans, and in 1966 and 1969 as the Chiefs. After the AFL-NFL merger they defeated the NFC Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV in 1970 at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Note: Be aware that there are a host of manufacturer's variants of these and other fan flags being marketed for "Chiefs" fans. This includes garden flags, banners, and pennants.

This popular Chiefs fan flag is for the "Man Cave." I've seen them for most NFL teams, same design, different colors, etc..

This flag is seems to be a cross between the Kansas City and Star Wars
fandom. This style flag is being made for most NFL teams.
