The flag is diagonally split by a white line into red and blue fields. In the red field is a white star overlapping a yellow star with the former being shifted towards the left. Both stars have deep blue outlines. On the white star is the name of the county with the captions "Virginia's Baby" and "Virginia's Coal" written in red and black respectively. In the center of the white star is a red outline of the county. Inside the outline is a depiction of nature and in front of it, a black and white diamond with the silhouette of the county courthouse. Underneath the two stars in yellow is "1880". In the blue field is the state seal of Virginia with some notable detail changes. For example, the people's skin is now white white, the woman no longer has a face, and the man's shirt is reddish instead of purple. The flag itself has a very thick yellow border except on the left side.
