Description of the flag

A white flag with a narrow dark blue stripe at hoist, and three dark blue-white-orange stripes at fly. In the orange stripe, the words FLORENCE COUNTY and the date 1888 are written vertically. In the broad white area, an emblem of three interlocking cogwheels, overlain by a gold fleur de lys, and surrounding it 9 red stars.
