At https://www.ebay.com/itm/398001009451, we can see the flag of Oak Island, NC. It is a regular blue with the seal centered upon it, having a dark blue border. Of course, I would think that if any actual meaning was applied, the blue is a literal suggestion of the border it has with the sea, as the place is an island.

The logo is a green ring with a brown (or oak colored) contour, enclosing within it a white circle. All borders, except as mentioned, are in this oak color. The center ring has two large, detailed trees within it, both connected and going a bit outside of the ring's border; of course, they suggest the origin of the place's name. These trees are situated upon a sandy harbor, with a cluster of reeds on each side of them, as commonly found here. A line divides the ring, with the blue sea and sand of the harbor on the lower part; and a gradient blue sky, with its center being an almost-white color, on the upper division, the division itself taking around 2/3 of the ring's height. In the uppermost part of the ring, two gulls outlined in blue are seen in flight, as typically seen in this environment. Above the central ring, the words TOWN OF (a bit smaller) and OAK ISLAND are curved; underneath, NORTH CAROLINA and, CHARTERED JULY 1, 1999 (a bit smaller). All text is in brown.
