Sharp Energy is one of the largest propane companies in the Mid-Atlantic Region," offering home propane delivery service to customers in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The company is a subsidiary of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, and has been in business since 1981.

The Sharp Energy corporate flag consists of the corporate logo centered on a dark blue field. The logo itself features the word "SHARP" in large, white, italicized capital letters, with the left leg of the "A" extending further down than the rest of the word. Below "SHARP" and offset toward the right is the word "ENERGY" in smaller, white, italicized capital letters. Above the word "SHARP" and offset to the right of the "P" is a stylized bird in flight, copying the seagull in flight from the logo of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, Sharp Energy's parent company. The enter logo is centered on the flag, with the word "SHARP" acting as the centering anchor.
