Description of the flag

Kempsville Building Materials is a provider of "quality building materials" for home construction projects, remodeling, and small commercial buildings. The company is a subsidiary of Ohio-based Carter Lumber Company and currently operates in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. It was founded in 1955.

The flag of Kempsville Building Materials was seen flying outside one of  the company's seven locations, and features the company logo centered on a white field. The logo consists of the word "Kempsville" in bold black letters, with a red diamond in the background framing the "K" and "e." The words "Building Materials" are in smaller red letters below "Kempsville," and the words "A Division of the Carter Lumber Company" in much smaller black letters.
