"In a vert field with argent wavy base is or wooden fortress. The emblem adorned by or decorative cartouche and crowned by an or rural crown. Emblem is a mention of the prince Yuri Polovets-Rozhynovs'kyi residence. The argent wavy base symbolizes the Desna river. The Village

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was found at 1240. Big Lithuanian prince Ol'gerd at 1362 has transferred village and vicinities in possession to the vassal prince Yuri Ivantych Polovets', which has accepted a name of prince Polovets-Rozhynovs'kyi. Almost 300 years village belonged to this princely family. The village was centre of princely possession which reached from Desna to Oster and Udai rivers. On the Desna island was a princely palace."
