This is the flag of a new party in Taiwan: the Taiwan Independence Party. Blue represents the sky and ocean; green the grassland; and gold the land. The four areas represent the four population-groups on the island: aborigines, Hakka, Min-nan Taiwanese, and mainlanders. The Chinese characters on the top are the name of the party in Chinese.
