Flag of Baskil

The flag of Baskil (photo) is white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".

Baskil is one of the main centers of apricot production in Turkey. The fruit is celebrated every summer by the Apricot Festival. In 2103, the municipality produced 46,980 t fresh apricots, of which 42,980 t were allocated to processing, yielding 10,745 t dried apricots.
The emblem also features the Kömhüran bridge, built over river Euphrates in 1983, connecting the Malatya and Elaziğ provinces.
