Description of the flag

According to the Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000, the flag of Chon Buri province is horizontally divided in three stripes (N-Y-N, with the yellow stripe wider than the black ones) with the provincial seal in the middle of the flag. The flag can be seen nowadays on the provincial website:

Description from
The seal of the province shows over the sea the outline of Khao Sam Muk, on which a shrine is located. Local people believe that the spirit of that mountain protects the fishermen from harm. The silhouette of Ko Sichang Island is displayed in the background.
