Mazanovskiy County became Mazanovskiy Municipal District in 2024 and all of its 12 municipalities were dissolved. Its coat of arms was adopted on 27.12.2005, the first flag on 22.08.2011, and its second flag on 05.05.2014. After the County became Municipal District, the first flag was adopted again on 17.09.2024, but soon it was changed and the second flag was adopted again as official one on 29.10.2024.
The 2011 flag is a rectangular cloth with a width to length ratio of 2:3, consisting of two horizontal stripes: the upper one is green, the lower one is yellow. The upper horizontal stripe is 1/2 the width of the flag, on its left part is the coat of arms, topped with a heraldic sign - a golden crown with five visible pointed teeth, symbolizing the status of a municipal county. Under the coat of arms are three golden eight-pointed stars. The lower horizontal stripe is 1/2 the width of the flag, divided in the middle by a blue (azure) wavy belt with a silver border at the bottom. The ratio of the width of the wavy belt to the width of the flag is one to six. The ratio of the width of the silver border to the width of the wavy belt is one to three.
The 2014 flag is rectangular cloth with a width to length ratio of 2:3, consisting of three wavy horizontal stripes, from top to bottom, of white (2/3 the width of the cloth), blue (1/9 the width of the cloth) and red (2/9 the width of the cloth), with a thin thread-like stripe of white between the blue and red stripes; in the center of the white stripe are two green spruces; in the center of the red stripe are three yellow circles.

In a silver field, two stylized green spruce trees above a gules (red) wavy base, bearing three gold bezants and abstractly completed with azure (blue, light blue).
