Shield Vert with base wavy Argent, charged with a bar wavy Azure, charged with two fish embowed respectant Argent, issuant from an embattled tower Or a fallow deer´s head Argent armed Or, flanked by two impending turrets Argent with windows Or. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (village rank) and long white scroll, as often used by united communes, reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE VILA NOVA DE CERVEIRA E LOVELHE".
Meaning:
The turrets are a representation of the former Lovelhe Commune, tower and deer of the former Vila Nova de Cerveira Commune. Fish and base wavy are a representation of the Minho River, which is the border to Spain.

Vila Nova de Cerveira e Lovelhe is one of the four communes of Vila Nova de Cerveira Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 1780 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 6,9nbsp;km².

Shield Vert, base wavy of Argent and Azure, the wave Azure charged with two fish affronty Argent, in centre a rampart Argent masoned Sable, in chief a fallow deer´s head Or armed Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "FREGUESIA DE VILA NOVA DE CERVEIRA".
Meaning:
The deer´s head is probably a canting element, because the name of the commune means "new town of the deer park".

Meaning:
The roses are attributes of St. Mary, the local patron saint.
