Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, issuant from base a throughout bridge Sable masoned Argent with one arch, in chief a parchment scroll Gules, flanked by a cogwheel Sable at dexter and a triplet of wheat ears Vert tied Gules at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black upper case letters "PONTE DO ROL".
The toponym (literally: "bridge on the list") refers to a local legend about a petition for a bridge over the Sizandro River having met, upon a royal stay, the promise that it has been added to the bottom of the to-do list of infrastructure improvements. Both the sought bridge and the regal list are depicted on the arms, thus canting, the latter as a scroll. Its colour is that one of the royal standard.
