Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, an overturned cross Latin Gules flanked by a potatoe shrub Vert fruited and blossomed Purpure at dexter and a bunch of three corn cobs Or leaved Vert and tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "VASCÕES".
Meaning:
The overturned cross, a St. Peter's cross, is a rare attribute of St. Peter, the local patron saint.
