Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a castle Or masoned Sable with port and windows Gules, issuant from flanches from base wavy Argent, charged with a barrulet wavy Azure, a four-arch bridge Argent masoned Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "TOURÉM".
Meaning:
The communal territory just northward off the average east-west border line between Spain and Portugal, orthogonally to the slope and being a sort of Caprivi strip connecting to the Portuguese mainland the nominal village and an odd transfluvial area on the north bank of River Salas, linked with a historical bridge. The arms, with the castle standing for Castile (wrongly so, as surrounding area is part of Leon/Galicia), refer to this peculiar geography.
