Coat of Arms

Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Azure, a pine tree eradicated Argent leafed of the same and fruited Or, flanked by a plough Or at dexter and two axes of the same in saltire at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black upper case letters "SOBRAL - MORTÁGUA".

Presentation of Sobral

Sobral is one of the six communes of Mortágua Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 2189 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 64,39 km².
