Shield Purpure with base wavy of Argent and Azure, a stork vigilant Argent armed Or, in chief two pears Or leaved Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "PEREIRA - MONTEMOR-O-VELHO".
Meaning:
The commune's name means "pear tree", the pears are thus canting elements.

Pereira Commune is one of the 11 communes of the Montemor-o-Velho municipality (q.v.); it had 3265 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 13.0 km².
