Shield Or a lyre Purpure garnished Argent, surrounded in orle by a pea creeper Vert blossomed Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and long white scroll, as often used by united communes, reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE COVÕES E CAMARNEIRA".
Meaning:
The lyre is taken from the arms of the former Covões Commune, the creeper from those of the former Camarneira Commune.

Covões e Camarneira is one of the five communes of Cantanhede Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 2754 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 36,86 km².

Shield Or, a grapevine Purpure leafed Vert surrounded by two corn cobs Gules leafed Vert (at dexter and sinister), a lyre Purpure stringed Sable in chief and a heraldic fountain in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black upper case serifed letters "COVÕES"
Meaning:
The lyre is representing the local Philharmonical Society, established on 13 June 1868, it also is reminding on the cultural and recreative facilities. Grapevine and corn cobs are representing agriculture and viticulture, the most important local economic activities. The fountain is symbolising the mineral waters of Montouro, containing a mixture of bicarbonate, sulphuric and sodic minerals.
