The arms are Or two eagles displayed respectant Sable armed and langued Gules, in chief a cross Vert fleury (Avis Order cross), base wavy Azure charged with a bendlet wavy Argent. Mural crown aArgent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters
"FREGUESIA DE AVIS".
