Coat of arms

Shield Azure, a tower Argent crowned by Our Lady of the Snows, dressed Gules, nimbed and rayed Or, flanked by two embattled turrets Argent masoned Sable with windows Sable. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "VILA DE ANGEJA".

Angeja Commune is one of the six communes of the Albergaria-a-Velha municipality (q.v.); it had 2073 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 21.3 km².
