Arms and flag adopted on February 19, 2004 (resolution # 5/XXI/2004).
"Gmina's Coat of Arms - a golden boat with an N-shaped sail on a blue
background refers not only to Nieporet's tradition and historic events,
but also to the present days.
The crown at the top reminds us that Nieporęt was a crown land - kingś
property.
A sheaf of cereal at the bow of the boat comes from the Swedish Vasa
dynasty's coat of arms, as Nieporęt belonged to this royal family.
The boat with the N-shaped sail unites the memory of the past with
the present.
It informs about tourist advantages of our commune that result from
the proximity of Zegrze Lake, about the development of our tourism infrastructure
and about possibilities of practicing water sports.
The colours - gold and blue - symbolise respectively: the precious
metal, which refers to the historical past of the commune, and water, which
defines its contemporary character.
Flag: Coat of Arms on the blue flag"
