Węgliniec - urban-rural commune, Zgorzelec County, Dolnośląskie Voivodship
- former German name: Kohlfurt; former Polish name: Kaławsk (1945-46).
The Arms were adopted by the Commune and City Council on August 31,
1995: "In the upper part of the shield, on the blue background, there is
symbol of the
railroads - wheel with the wings - in gold, outlined in black.
Lower part of the shield shows three pine trees (light green) on gold
(yellow).
The shield is bordered all around in red with the legend saying: "Wegliniec
- Gmina i Miasto" - (Wegliniec - Commune and City).
The flag of the Commune, adopted on October 11, 1996 is a vertical tri-color
of light blue - light green - yellow.
The ceremonial flag has the Arms displayed on the middle, green band."
