Cadetten R.V., Breda

[Cadetten R.V. burgee] by Jarig Bakker, 6 Sep 2004

The Yearbook of the "Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad" - Wie, Wat, Waar 1941 has two pages with burgees.
Cadetten Roeivereniging, Breda - a blue flag with a white rectangle charged with letters M.A. below a white crown fringed black.
M.A. is for "Militaire Academie", now the Koninklijke Militaire Academie, the only school for officers in the Dutch Army. This club was prohibited immediately after the German invasion, and I couldn't find info whether it was reinstituted after 1945.

Cadetten Roei- en Zeilvereniging: This club used for a long time a vertical triband orange - white - orange, with on white the emblem of the KMA (Royal Military Academy) over two rowing oars in saltire. In the 1970's or 80's this was changed to a flag with two horizontal stripes of white and blue, with in orange an emblem formed by the letters "ddvh". These were initials of the official name of the club: "Dudok van Heel".
