Located in Taito City Tokyo and established in 1958. The embroidered ceremonial flag has ancient purple background. The university emblem, cherry blossoms and eight ridge mirrors are embroidered with gold thread, leaves with green thread, and sepals with white thread. Vertical gold kanji university name with gold fringe. The university emblem of Ueno Gakuen, adopted in 1925, is in the form of a cherry blossom with an octagonal ancient mirror called a hachiryo-kyo (eight-pointed mirror). The cherry blossom is associated with Ueno, where the university is located, and represents the spirit of peace and love for spring. The eight-pointed mirror, one of the three sacred treasures, represents the spirit of purity, clarity, and clarity of mind, as well as a reminder to reflect on one's own mental functions and state of mind.
