Located in Takatsuki City Osaka Prefecture and established in 1950. The embroidered ceremonial flag has dark red background with a white emblem and horizontally written in white kanji university name in gold fringe. The university flag has dark red background with a white emblem and white kanji university name written horizontally. (Source) The emblem of the university is a design of the kanji characters "薬大" (College of Pharmacy). Adopted around 1950. Currently not used except for the university logo flag.

The symbol mark flag has white background with a sky blue symbol mark and horizontally written black kanji and English university name. The symbol mark was created on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Osaka University of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2004, when the university asked Ken Miki, a design expert, to create the mark and the symbol mark was voted on by the Centennial Committee from among four proposals. The motif of the Chinese character 薬 symbolizes the deep and rich expertise of Osaka University of Pharmaceutical Sciences and its strong will and pride to contribute to people and society through pharmaceutical sciences.
