White coat of arms on dark green field. The coat of arms has three discs which represent coastline, outer volcano and
inner volcano. The triangle stands for great deal of smoke from crater of Mt. Mihara in the
island. The coat of arms was adopted August 1 1957. Flag unlegislated.
