KFF (Knattspyrnufélag Fjarðabyggðar = Fjarðabyggð Football Club) is football
club from Eskifjörður in Fjarðabyggð municipality. The club was created in 2001
by merging three local football clubs: Íþróttafélagið Þróttur Neskaupstað,
Ungmennafélagið Austri Eskifirði and Ungmennafélagið Valur Reyðarfirði. The
fusion of the football club actually followed the unification of the
municipalities three years earlier into a municipality Fjarðabyggð.
