About

The GGGI was initiated by the former South Korean president Lee Myung-Bak on February 16, 2010 then transformed into an organization upon ratification on June 20, 2012. It has [as of this email] 37 members (36 States + 1 organization) and is an UN observer member since June 13, 2013. "The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies."

The Flag

There are four main flags that are used by the GGGI; all versions are either white with a green logo or green white a white logo. Both variants of the logo (full name and acronym) are used on the flags.
