Dun Laoghaire to the S.E. of Dublin, Ireland, is the seat of the Dun
Laoghaire Motor Yacht Club. Website:
http://www.dmyc.ie.
Founded in 1965 it indicates that it "catered for
all types of craft and for all types of people - the only common denominator
being that they get their enjoyment from boating" (from "The Club / History"
section, upper menu). After a modest beginning the club expanded and is now well
and thriving. Junior courses are organized; the annual Frostbite races, open to
other clubs, are well-known.
