Clifden Boat Club “is a small Boat Club situated on the West Coast of
Ireland, just 1.6km outside the picturesque town of Clifden, Connemara” as
stated on the club’s website:
http://www.clifdenboatclub.com. Very active in organizing regattas, an ISA
training centre, CBC maintains a website offering many fine yachting photos.
Not found on said photos – I may have been inattentive – is the burgee, shown as a drawing on the site: light blue, a dark blue silhouette of a townscape in the lower half and scripted upright initials “CBC”, light blue, in the lower hoist.
Surely Clifden is evoked here, witness the two church towers (of St. Joseph's, Roman Catholic, and Christ Church, Church of Ireland) in this photo: http://www.connemara-holidays.com/clifden.htm.
